Five methods for heat sealing strength of composite vacuum packaging bags:


1. Adjust the heat seal temperature, pressure and time


    The heat seal layer of different materials and thicknesses has the best combination of heat seal temperature, pressure and time. When these parameters are adjusted to the best combination, the heat seal strength is the highest. This can be consulted with the supplier or continuously adjust the test summary.


2. Ensure that the surface of the heat seal layer is smooth.


  When there is foreign matter on the surface, the heat seal strength will obviously decrease. To ensure the surface of the heat seal layer, the following work should be done: a. Ensure the conveyor belt and the transfer roller of the automatic packaging equipment or the bag making machine are clean; b. A hard object prevents the foreign matter of the enamel film from being trapped in the heat seal; c. When the filler is a powdery material that is easy to generate static electricity, the heat seal layer is selected to have an antistatic film.


3. Widen the width of the heat seal knife or change it to a wave surface heat seal knife.


    Widening the width of the heat-sealing knife is to widen the heat-sealing width, but it does not enhance the heat-sealing strength, but it can reduce the influence of tiny foreign matter such as powder particles on the heat-sealing strength. The use of a wavy heat-sealing knife allows the heat seal layer to be better fused to achieve improved heat seal strength.


4, improve the composite strength of the material


    When the composite strength of the composite packaging bag is insufficient, under the pressure of the heat sealing knife, if the offset or the fault occurs, the pressure of the heat sealing layer on the lowermost layer of the heat sealing knife is lowered, resulting in insufficient heat sealing strength.


5, thicken the heat seal layer or choose a film with better heat sealing effect


    Thickening the heat seal layer allows more films to fuse together, just like the principle of a chopstick and 10 chopsticks. Films of different materials have different suction forces between molecules after fusion, and the suction force in different environments is also different. For example, LDPE has a significantly higher heat seal strength than CPP of the same thickness in a low temperature environment.
